Thanks for clearing that up!

Wesley Clark has finally answered a question that many have pondered and argued over: When does life begin? According to Clark, "life begins with the mother's decision". Well, that settles it then. A baby is only alive if his mother decides that he's alive. I'm glad we have people like Clark to answer these age-old questions. [/sarcasm] (Via Boortz, who no doubt would call me a "zealot".)

And speaking of Clark, that towering intellect Madonna has weighed in with her Very Important Endorsement™ of Clark. According to McDonna, terrorism isn't a threat, but Dubya is:

“I am writing to you because the future I wish for my children is at risk,” notes Madonna. “Our greatest risk is not terrorism and it’s not Iraq or the ‘Axis of Evil.’ Our greatest risk is a lack of leadership, a lack of honesty and a complete lack of consciousness.”

Madonna then goes on to slam the Bush administration. “Unfortunately our current government cannot see the big picture,” she writes. “They think too small. They suffer from the ‘what's in it for me?’ syndrome.”

This from a woman who built her whole career with a "What's in it for me?" attitude. (Via Midwest Conservative Journal.)

I agree. Who died and made Wesley Clark God, that he can settle for us once and for all when life begins. I'm sure this will come as great news to fetuses as they are being dismembered.

Also, Madona needs a reality check.

Madonna is a priceless idiot. I saw her on a tv interview a while ago in which she quite seriously said that the main problem with America is young people growing up obessed with wealth and fame. To paraphrase Mark Steyn, "the good thing about a celebrity culture is that it siphons off the most narcissistic types into areas where they can do the least damage." We hope.

Andrew,

Madonna wouldn't know reality if it knocked her upside the head. ;-)

Havdala,

I was pretty amused when I read recently about how Madonna protects her children from the bad things in our culture. While I give her some credit for doing so, I doubt that she realizes the part she played in polluting it in the first place.

I agree. And if every parent sheilded their child from the corrupting influences in our society, Madonna would find her porn-posing, suggestive-dressing, authority-challenging, Bush-bashing, Brittany-kissing self out of work real quick.
