Lest We Forget

Today is the ninth anniversary of the Oklahoma City bombing. Here is a memorial site. Thanks to this post via blogs4God for reminding me.

I remember I was home sick from work that day and had been asleep all morning. I got up to eat lunch and found out about the bombing on the news.

I was at work when it happened and a friend called me and told me to turn on the tv in my office - - we all sat around watching it in utter disbelief.

The memorial is a beautiful place. It is well worth visiting. Those who lost their lives are remembered in such a touching way.
