You know, compared with some American atrocities I remember (and see here), some of those European ones aren't half bad. But I agree that bathroom is the pits. I sure hope it still doesn't look like that. (I mean, Europeans seem in general to be addicted to bad wallpaper, but that was really bad. And I will try to forget I ever saw the old-mucous-colored sink.)

How could I have forgotten "The Gobbler" over at Lileks' site? The sheer horror must have caused me to block it out! I don't think carpeting belongs on walls...I'm just funny that way.

The wallpaper at the Eurobad site was unbelievably bad. I think I'd go insane if I had to look at that every day.
