Today's Schiavo News

Well, it's been a trying day for those of us following the Schiavo case. Judge Greer has ruled that Terri will be denied nourishment starting March 18th. Also, the St. Petersburg Times would not accept the BlogsforTerri ad unless certain parts of it were stricken. They later recanted the demand for changes, but BlogsforTerri had already made other arrangements. So, the ad will not run in that paper this Sunday. It will run in the Tampa Tribune instead.

This whole situation with Terri Schiavo stinks of evil. It is so obvious this poor girl is being used to set a dangerous path legally OR ILLEGALLY however you look at this. May God never let Michael Schiavo have a moment of inner peace if Terri dies.

Hi Nancy,

I agree...there is profound evil at work here. If Terri is allowed to starve...well, all I can say is that the future is going to be a scary place for the weak and disabled.

I'm sorry I am late in learning about Terri. I have read and heard many media news about Terri being in a vegetative state and being on lifesupport. This isn't true. She knows when people talk to her, she smiles and tries to talk. She can swallow her own saliva. During the past 14 years, why haven't the doctors tried to see if she can swallow soft foods?! If she is able to swallow foods, she will be able to eat and can live without a feeding tube. If the courts let her die I hope they never get a night's sleep again. For 14 years God has let her live. It's obvious that He wants her around longer. Let's all pray daily, even hourly for her and her parents.

Hi Michelle,

Exactly! And the thing is, as I understand it, Terri does not drool -- she can swallow her own saliva. If she can do that, why couldn't she swallow food? Also I remember reading somewhere that nurses caring for her have snuck things like Jello to her.
