He got away with it...

I'm ending my moratorium on this subject now that the verdict is in. I absolutely believe that Michael Jackson is a pedophile. I also just knew that he would be acquitted, and unfortunately I was right.

I think the main reason he got away with it is that the mother of the boy involved was a thief and a grifter. Therefore, the jury didn't believe her or the boy. My theory is that this woman pimped her ill son out to Jacko and got mad when the gravy train ended. Next, she will probably sue Jacko and get a lot of money.

I just can't get over the idiotic fans waiting around for the verdict to be read. Do these people have lives? Jobs? One idiot woman actually released doves when the "not guilty" verdicts were read. It is to puke...

Hi, it was the mother who caused Jackson to get away with it.

I believe that he should not have access to his own children because he is causing them untold psychological harm with his insistence that they wear masks in public.

He is not normal and he needs to be seen by a psychiatrist

Grrrrr...this makes me cranky.

I feel that even if the mother is a grifter, that doesn't mean that her son WASN'T molested. MJ is sick. At least he's saying he won't invite children to sleep in bed with him, anymore. As far as I knew, he never asked the girls, just the boys. Bizarro. Ick.

Jacko is obviously not sane...it's literally written all over his face. And his children...all I can do is pray for them. What an awful situation they have been born into! :-(

It seems like these trials are just a popularity contest. It doesn't matter what the evidence is -- if the jurors don't like the victim, or if the victim is less-than-virtuous, they are likely to acquit.

From what I understand, girls were not welcome at Jacko's sleepovers. I think he also lost interest in the boys after they reached a certain age. Like you said...ick!

Susan, I agree, and that is why he is known as Whacko Jacko. He is definitely insane. I think that his upbringing is the reason that he is insane. This is not MJ apologia. I am looking at this from the point of view that he was brought up as JW. The JWs do not treat their children very well. I have read some of the information that is available about abuse within that sect. Also I have had first hand experience (not personal) of how JW men abuse their wives.

If I was to point to anything that was a sign that something was wrong then I would choose his crotch catching as something that is seriously wrong. It is what I am happy to call a red flag for a child abuser.

Hi Maggie,

He definitely had a messed-up upbringing. There's the whole JW thing, plus his father was abusive and unloving. It would be a miracle for someone with that kind of upbringing to actually be a normal, sane human being. :-(
