Checking in...

I know, I know...I haven't been around much this month. Sorry about that. Here's a summary of what's been going on with me, both good and bad:

So, that's what's been going on. Posting may be sporadic for a while, especially with my switching to a new PC.

Comments

I could really use a new PC, myself. I've been debating whether to mod the ol' thing or just get a new one, but I don't really have the money for either, at the moment. :-)

Oh, the crate training will be so good for Betty, I bet. How many possums has she gotten, already? Ew...aren't they kind of ugly, too?

Sorry about the miserable Christmas dinners... /hug

Congrats on your soap-making endeavors!! :-D Sounds like they're doing really well, despite the dye issues you were having, before. Hee.

I'll be praying for you with your pain and your spine x-ray, Susan.

Have a blessed Christmas, for all that. :-)

Hi Jami,

Betty has went after three 'possums and killed at least two of them. The first 'possum was, I think, just playing dead. This was not long after we first got her. It was in the middle of the night and she went after it and it went limp. I got a shovel and dumped it over the fence into the front yard so it could be buried the next morning. However, it was gone the next morning. So, it must have been either playing dead or some other animal or maybe an owl dragged it off. She definitely killed the other two, though.

I'm praying that there will be no disasters or drama during this year's Christmas dinner. I'm still not over the disaster of last year.

I've learned that the pink and burgundy gel dye fades away when exposed to light. Also, the violet gel dye turns blue when exposed to light. So I got some other liquid pink and purple colorants that I'm going to try.

Thank you so much for your prayers about my pain situation. Like I said, I have actually been doing a little better the past few days, so the prayers are working. :-)

Have a blessed and very merry Christmas! :-)
