That's good. We're getting rain up here too, but it's not like we haven't had rain recently. Still need it, though.

The rain was nice while it lasted, which was a few hours. We need more, but we'll take what we can get.

Monday, when I went to my follow-up podiatrist appointment, I was wondering why my throat was irritated and why I was coughing. I noticed that the air looked more hazy than usual. Then I heard that the smoke from those fires had made its way to my area. That combined with the dry dustiness and pollen have made things very unpleasant. My mother has been having bad sinus problems again.

Anyway, I'm grateful for the rain and I hope we get some more soon.
