Guffaw of the Day

Make your own Obama platitude with the Barack Obama Quote Generator. The parameters I put in came up with these three platitudes:

"I think it's time we had a national conversation about independence. We need to get past all the money and recognize that we are our own best hope for overcoming work. We need handouts, not soap. Handouts are our dreams. And we need to have change in independence."

"These people haven't had dreams for fifty years. So you can't be surprised if they get bitter and cling to their money and their soap and their work. That's what my campaign is about. Teaching all the little people in this country that they can have handouts."

"You know, there's a lot of talk in this country about independence. Well I think Americans are tired of the same old money. Ordinary Americans believe in handouts, they want less
soap, they just aren't sure if their leaders believe in dreams."

Here is one I created:

"You know, there's a lot of talk in this country about defeat. Well I think Americans are tired of the same old cats. Ordinary Americans believe in dogs, they want less tigers, they just aren't sure if their leaders believe in puppies."

LOL, Donnie! :-D You can really get creative with these Obama platitudes, believe me.

Here's something I may post about later -- I really need to quit reading gossip blogs because they are not only leftist in most cases, they are also usually extremely bigoted against Christians*. Oh, they may go after Scientology, which is a deserving but easy and fashionable target. But they don't have the guts to go after Islam. (*Actually, I rather liked this particular blog until it posted that bigoted, ignorant bunch of nonsense.)

Anyway, this kind of crap really gets to me, so here are a couple of Obama platitudes to help me work out my anger:

"I think it's time we had a national conversation about faith. We need to get past all the Christianity and recognize that we are our own best hope for overcoming Catholics. We need Muslims, not Evangelicals. Muslims are our betters. And we need to have change in faith."

"You know, there's a lot of talk in this country about morality. Well I think Americans are tired of the same old hang-ups. Ordinary Americans believe in depravity, they want less monogamy, they just aren't sure if their leaders believe in promiscuity."

**sigh** I feel better now... :-)
